HordeCall Privacy Policy

Effective date: 6 October 2026 · Developer: Bill The Dev

In short

1. Who we are

HordeCall (the "App") is a mobile survival action game published on Google Play by Bill The Dev, an individual developer ("we", "us"). You fight waves of monsters, collect guns and upgrade them between runs.

This policy explains what information is processed when you use the App, who processes it, why, and the choices you have. It applies only to the App.

2. Information we collect ourselves

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. When the App can reach our server it creates a guest account and stores:

DataWhat it isWhy
Device keyA one-way hash (SHA-256) of your device's Android ID. The Android ID itself is never stored. To find your guest account again after a reinstall on the same device
Player IDA random identifier made by our serverTo link your saves and scores to your guest account
Game progressA copy of your in-game profile: currencies, guns, upgrades, outfits, missions, settings and statisticsCloud backup and restore
LeaderboardsYour best scores and the display name shown on leaderboards (default "Survivor")Leaderboards
Technical recordsTimes of your requests and your IP address in short-lived server logsSecurity, abuse prevention and troubleshooting

The App also keeps its game data on your device so it works offline.

3. Information collected by third parties

The App includes software development kits (SDKs) from Google. They handle data according to their own policies.

3.1 Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics

Firebase Analytics records how the App is used (for example runs played, levels reached, items unlocked, ads watched) together with an app instance ID, device model, operating system, language and approximate location derived from the IP address. Crashlytics sends crash reports with technical information about the device and the App's state when it crashed. We use these only to understand and improve the game and to fix bugs. See Firebase privacy and security.

3.2 Advertising: Google AdMob

The App shows optional rewarded video ads (which you choose to watch, for example to revive or to double the coins of a run) and full-screen ads after some long runs. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which can collect your advertising ID, IP address, device information and ad interactions to show, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

3.3 Purchases: Google Play Billing

Optional in-app purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details; our server only receives the purchase confirmation from Google Play to check that it is valid and to deliver the item. Some items in the App (gun crates) give random rewards; their drop rates are shown in the App before you open one.

4. Why the data is processed (and legal bases)

5. Consent and your choices

In regions where consent is required, the App shows Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options. To reset or delete your advertising ID, use your device's settings (usually Settings → Privacy → Ads or Settings → Google → Ads).

6. Deleting your data

7. Data retention

We keep your guest account and cloud save while you use the App. Accounts with no activity for 24 months may be deleted. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and its target audience is ages 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, contact us and we will delete the related data.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA/UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell personal information. Contact us to use these rights.

10. Security

Our server is reachable only over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), stores a hash instead of your device ID, and is protected by access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we keep the data we hold to a minimum.

11. Where data is stored

Our server is hosted in Vietnam. Google may process data in the United States and other countries under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if the App adds features or partners. The updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
